He gave us a call and then we talked to Holly. They sent us down a Flowmaster signature series system. As you guys can see right there, a full catback that we’re going to install on this beautiful truck cuz he was complaining of drone. So, I’m going to let you guys hear what it sounds like before with the Flow FX dump. So, it’s a clean, deep tone, but it it’s really droney on the highways and stuff. So, here’s sound decibb on it. Go ahead [Music] again. So, right at 90, I’ll let you guys You can see the flow effects right there. It’s really It’s deep. It sounds good, but we’re going to replace it with Flowmaster signature series muffler dual system. Okay, stay tuned, guys. Here’s the part number on it. It’s from 2019 to 24 Silverado Sierra 1500 Signature Series system. Here’s the part number. 737894. Our good friends at Holly sent this to us. As long as we did a video for them, they said just do a video and you got the system. And so we passed it along to this gentleman because he was not happy with the flow effects. So hopefully he’ll be happy with this cuz he didn’t want any drone. So stay tuned guys. We’re going to let you guys hear it and show you what it looks like and all that. The installation process and all that. It’s a pretty big box. It needs two people to carry it too. Look at that thing. It’s huge. So 2022 Chevy Silverado. We showed you guys what it sounded like before and the decibb and all that good stuff. Let me show you what it looks like under here. Now before we do anything, converter converter wise into a single. And then the signature series should be started here where this clamp is. We take this clamp off, take this flex pipe off and run a whole new pipe. But that’s the one he did himself. He got it off eBay. I think the Flow FX and he said he hates it. It’s just too droneyy and too loud for him, especially being under the cab like that. So he’s like, « I don’t like it. Take it off. » I said, « Okay. » He’s going to return it. We’re going to install this signature series by Holly. So he’s the perfect candidate for this. Hope he likes it once we’re done with it. So, as you guys can see, it’s a full stainless steel system by Flowmaster, and it’s the Flowmaster Signature Series. Check it out. There’s the two tail pipes. It’s going to get dumped right here cuz the the tips are blocked off. So, we’re not going to install the tips or anything on it. He might change the bumper later on, but because it’s being a base model, it’s just closed off as you guys can see. So, there’s the Flowmaster. It comes bolt from this clamp right here. And the new one put on in its place right there all the way back. Everything else matches up and gets put on. But we also have to add hangers there and there cuz this system is made for a single. So, we’re just going to weld right to those hangers, the new solid mount hangers for now. It’s a clean system, guys. It’s not bad at all. We’ll show you guys after we’re done installing it. All right, guys. So, the Silverado 5.3 L V8 just got new exhaust by our friends at Holly Performance or Flowmaster official. We just installed the Flowmaster signature series stainless steel no drone technology system. So, let me show you guys what we’ve done. You guys ready? There’s the cats. One there, one there. Then they wind into a single. And the Holly Signature series starts at this clamp. This clamp gave them a little bit of trouble to come off, but we finally got it off and it fit like a glove. They did a really good job on making sure it fits like a glove, so I was impressed with that. Then it’s 3-in pipe. There’s the hanger. Look at the weld quality. It’s nice. It’s good quality system. There’s a Flowmaster Signature Series muffler. Single end, dual out. And then it’s got the tail pipes out the back on each side. Stainless steel all the way. And it’s polished stainless, so it’s nice and shiny. This is the factory setup with a single on this truck. It’s the base model, so we had to do a little fabricating, but it’s okay. Usually, it’ll fit right into the hangers and go right out these tips, but these tips are not existent on this truck cuz it’s the base model. So, we just did like turn downs on it as you guys can see there and there and welded in new tips, solid mount tips right there and kept the original tips there on each side. Bolted them in to the frame and welded them on the bottom. So, that’s the only thing we had to custom do on it. And he said, « I don’t want to see the tips anyways. I don’t like seeing tips. » So, we we didn’t put any tips on it. Maybe later down the road we’ll put tips on it. We’ll see. But, there it is. It’s the LT model 5.3 L. And it is the signature series. We just put his muffler in here in this box where the old flow FX was right there. And if you guys wonder, that’s the part number on the muffler for this kit. And that’s the part number on the kit itself right there. All right, stay tuned, guys. We’re about to start it. Let you guys hear it. Hope you guys like it. Let it idle till it idles down. So this is at idle right at 75. It goes down to 68 69 once the idle’s uh temperature goes down. All right, give me [Music] gas. Nice clean mellow sound. You guys let me know what you guys think of the tone again. Not bad. Here’s sound decibb. Go ahead. Right at 85 91. So it’s not crazy loud. It’s just a clean tone. Yeah, it’s clean. I like it. Yeah, that’s a clean tone. And I bet cuz it’s got a little bit of uh fiberglass in it that it will get a little bit louder over time. Yeah, I like that. It’s clean. Let’s go. And the best thing about the signature series is they they guarantee no drone. So, that’s another thing to consider. And if you don’t know what drone is, it’s a sound frequency that gets there around uh 18 to 2200 RPM. And it sounds like a heavy metal band. It’s like oh like that. So they guarantee that it doesn’t do that which annoys a lot of people. So it helps with that. They got different lines for different trucks like Rams. We have another truck we’ll tag in there that we did the Ram that had the no drone technology in it too from the signature series. And this is the Silverado line. So there you go.
